Red’z Ball’z
These meatballs are versatile as you’ll see in the final remarks, easy and well worth the effort. I’m not sure how Teresa Mauldin does it but Red’z is an awesome product!
Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds 80/20 ground beef
- 1 cup Panko
- 3 tablespoons Red’z Creeper
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Combine the ingredients then using a 1/4 cup scoop make and form 12 Ball’z. For this recipe I fried the Ball’z but feel free to bake them. The noodles are a basic ramen and the broth is Pho, about
- 1 1/2 cup pho to 1 tablespoon Red’z Creeper. I could have used more broth but I tend to show you how I like to eat in the photos and I’m all about the noodles. Garnished with kimchi.
Notes
I usually use cracker or bread crumbs for meatballs and panko as a coating on meats. I didn’t feel like making any crumbs and I had a canister of panko in my pantry so I used that not really expecting anything special but that’s what I got! Loved the texture of these meatballs and I believe it was the panko.
The final photo is heated Ball’z on King’s Hawaiian Rolls with Hellman’s Mayo – both brands are important to mention because they are different from all the others. This is what truly put the weight on me the past 3 or 4 days – I finished 9 Ball’z! Not really photo worthy but it’s what I was eating while working and I did take them off the paper towel and put them on a plate.
Although I didn’t try it, these Ball’z would be excellent with an Italian sauce over pasta. I tend to add heat in the form of Calabrian chili flakes or the basic crushed red pepper to my pasta sauce so this would definitely add a little something extra.
